Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice

Aloe gel has over 75 potentially active constituents, such as vitamins (vitamin A, C, E and B12), enzymes (amylase, catalase and peroxidase), minerals (i.e., zinc, copper, selenium, and calcium), sugars and amino acids. Aloe Barbadensis Miller is considered the most biologically active species. Our aloe vera are from Organic Farming (COSMOS certified) located in the natural park of Cabo de Gata in Almeria (Spain), and the factory where it is extracted is less than an hour from the plantation, which means that it maintains its freshness and properties at the time of processing. It is 100% natural and is subjected to a process of ultrafiltration.

DMAE

DMAE is a B choline (part of the water-soluble B vitamins). Its benefits include increased skin firmness, increased facial muscle tone, hydration and antioxidant activity. Prolonged use of DMAE has a cumulative effect on the skin and, even if discontinued, its effects last.

Cocos Nucifera Fruit Extract

Extract of coconut meat, the inner white layer of the coconut. Its oil (medium chain triglycerides) and its variety of polyphenolic compounds (flavonoids, tannins, anthocyanins, etc.) make it a nourishing antioxidant with anti-aging properties. It softens the skin, reduces skin dryness, prevents wrinkles and blackheads.

Sphingomonas Ferment Extract

Sphingomonas Ferment Extract has been shown to significantly reduce the aging of human skin. It does this by inhibiting cellular senescence, a state where cells lose their ability to divide and function properly. This process is associated with aging and the development of age-related diseases.

Arginine

Arginine helps to the body to produce nitric oxide, an endogenous messenger involved in a variety of physiological processes in the skin. It is one of the constituents of the skin’s Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) and a direct precursor of urea and proline. An excellent skin care ingredient that that enhances circulation improving texture, elasticity and thickness. It also has proven antioxidant and moisturizing properties.

Sodium Hyaluronate

Many studies have been carried out to evaluate its benefits. Smoothness, plumping, hydration, fine lines and wrinkles are some of the aspects in which its efficacy has been demonstrated.
Its molecular weight is decisive for its permeability and medium and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid can penetrate deeper.

Lecithin

Lecithin is a natural substance considered an excellent skin conditioner, which also repairs the skin barrier. It works well as a moisturizer, reducing skin flaking when applied. Our Lecithin is produced from high quality (non-GMO) sunflower seeds, so the predominant phospholipids are phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylinositol. Phospholipids work at the level of the skin cells deep in the skin layers to help maintain elasticity and optimal barrier function by reducing water loss and improving the lipid barrier.

Pentylene Glycol

Our Pentylene Glycol is sourced naturally from corn and sugar cane. Pentylene glycol has the ability to attract and retain water molecules, which makes it an excellent moisturizer. It is also an effective penetration enhancer of other active ingredients, capable of improving skin permeation of both hydrophilic and lipophilic molecules.

Lactobacillus Ferment / Lactobacillus

Lactobacillus is an antimicrobial peptide from lactic acid bacteria. Like many other lactic acid bacteria, Lactobacillus is able to restrict the proliferation of other microorganisms by acidifying its environment. Probiotics play a key role in maintaining the skin microbiome and have also been shown to be effective in protecting the skin against skin photoaging.

Ascorbyl Glucoside

It is obtained by combining a sugar molecule (glucose) with a vitamin C molecule. Although it reacts slowly compared to ascorbic acid, its more prolonged and continuous action allows it to quench a number of radicals greater than Ascorbic Acid. This long-lasting effect has also been seen in the study on collagen synthesis. It can be applied at lower concentrations and does not require an acid formulation and is therefore better tolerated by sensitive skin.

Zinc PCA

Zinc is is essential for the differentiation and proliferation of epidermal keratinocytes and Pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA), one of the major components of natural moisturizing factor (NMF), is an activator of the epidermis differentiation and a great moisturizer. It helps with lipidic restructuring and increase the efficacy and bioavailability of zinc. L-PCA is obtained by the cyclization of the L-glutamic acid, amino acid from beetroot.

Aminobutyric Acid

Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a non-proteinogenic amino acid, widely present in nature. Our GABA is synthesised from glutamine, an amino acid present in spinach, pulses, cereals, broccoli etc. GABA works as a muscle relaxant and improves skin elasticity boosting collagen and elastin.

Tocopheryl Acetate

Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant protecting cell membranes from lipid peroxidation, stabilizing the lipid bilayer and maintaining the skin’s collagen structure.

Bisabolol

Bisabolol is known to have antioxidant effects, which can help protect the skin from environmental stressors and reduce the signs of aging. It also helps to even and brighten skin tone and improve the percutaneous absorption of other active ingredients in skin care products, making them more effective.

Gluconolactone

Gluconolactone is a type of hydroxy acid that has a larger molecular size, compared to other hydroxy acids, resulting in fewer side effects. Despite its larger size, it has the same effect on improving facial texture: brightness , reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and evening out skin tone.

Superoxide Dismutase

Superoxide Dismutase is one of the most potent antioxidants known in nature. Our SOD is not a purified enzyme, but an intact enzyme complex composed of the active enzyme and associated chaperone proteins, which explains the drastic difference in stability. It is isolated from eukaryotic cells of yeast, fruits and vegetables. This superhero remains intact to continue in its defence of the body, unlike non-enzymatic antioxidants which are consumed during the neutralization process. Protects against the harmful effects of solar radiation and combats photo-ageing. It protects against environmental pollution, provides moisture and softness to the skin and promote the moderate crosslinking of collagen and stabilize collagen and elastin.

Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride

Caprylic Triglyceride is a medium chain triglyceride derived from coconut oil and glycerin. It acts as an emollient, softening the skin and forming a protective layer. A light, non-greasy barrier that is rapidly absorbed and locks in moisture, preventing the skin from drying out. Caprylic Triglyceride also acts as a dispersing agent, helping to evenly distribute other active ingredients and enhances their absorption, making them more effective.

Citric acid

Citric Acid can be considered an alpha hydroxy acid, but it is also a b-hydroxy acid. It reduces damage caused by oxidative stress, improves the appearance of photo-aged skin, corrects keratinization disorders and increases thickness.

Gaba

A neurotransmitter non-protein amino acid that is widely present in microorganisms, plants and animals. It is used to provide a more relaxed facial appearance. It also has water-binding properties for skin. COSMOS certified.

Trehalose

INCI: Trehalose

Also called “resurrection sugar” because it helps resist plants and insects in extreme conditions. Trehalose mimics the sugars found in Natural Moisturizing Factor, attracting moisture to maintain skin hydration, and also plays the role of an antioxidant. COSMOS certified.

Lactic Acid

INCI: Lactic Acid

Our lactic acid is of vegetable origin. Obtain through the fermentation of carbohydrates, this vegan form of alpha hydroxy acid allows you to gently remove dead skin cells. The appearance of blemishes and wrinkles are reduced and the appearance of pores appears to be refined. Lactic acid is also very nourishing, increasing the skin’s natural barrier lipids to help the complexion retain water for smooth, hydrated skin.

Hyaluronic Acid

A component naturally present in our bodies, it acts on the skin by deeply hydrating it. Its great capacity to attract and retain water molecules makes it a key ingredient for the proper functioning of the skin. Our hyaluronic acid is double molecular weight (Very Low and Low to Medium) to reach different layers of the skin. It has both immediate and long-term effects on skin texture: Immediate visible effect of plumping and glowing skin and in long term, strengthens the skin’s natural barrier function, making it more elastic.

This ingredient combines the hydration-boosting power of PCA and the antiaging power of copper.

This powerful probiotic-based ingredient is both a self-preserving cosmetic active and a moisturizing and hydrating active. Lactobacillus, a member of the lactic acid bacteria family, is able to provide broad-spectrum antimicrobial protection.

In addition to being a wonderful alternative to synthetic preservatives, it helps improve hydration (25% in 4 weeks) and increase smoothness, while contributing to a healthy skin microbiome. COSMOS Certified.

DMAE

INCI: Dimethyl MEA

Known as DMAE, naturally produced in the body, is a derivative of the B vitamin choline. It helps achieve the appearance of tighter, plumper skin. With a moisturizing effect, the face seems less wrinkled, softer, and smoother with each application.

Panthenol

INCI: Panthenol

Also known as vitamin B5 or pantothenic acid is a cofactor in the biosynthesis of the lipid layer barrier. In other words, it produces a long-lasting moisturizing effect.

Spirulina

INCI: Spirulina platensis powder

Spirulina is highly dense and rich in nutrients. Its synergistic compounds, such as peptides, polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and antioxidant phytonutrients, provide a complete action to the serum. It is known for its moisturizing, antioxidant and luminous properties. Its photosynthetic pigments give color to this formula.

Marine elastin

INCI: Hydrolyzed elastin

Its function is to provide elasticity to the skin. A protein that forms part of the connective tissue of the human body and is made up of abundant amino acids such as glycine, proline, desmosine and isodesmosine, which form part of the amorphous component of elastic fibers.

Niacinamide
